    Dancers' Studio West (DSW) members are hereby given notice of the Annual General Meeting of the Society.

    Special Resolution: Proposed New Bylaws

    At the Annual General Meeting, members will be asked to vote on a Special Resolution to approve new bylaws for Dancers' Studio West. The proposed bylaws include a new membership structure and other governance updates. A copy of the draft bylaws is available here for members to review before the meeting

    We look forward to your participation as we work together to support the future of Dancers' Studio West.

Introducing our new Board Chair!!!

Deanna Witwer

Deanna Witwer is a choreographer, performer, writer and director committed to facilitating rich, formative experiences for artists and audiences through intentional engagement of the whole person. She directed Corps Bara Dance Theatre for nine years and has been on the board of Dancers' Studio West since 2021.

Witwer holds a BA in Dance from the University of Calgary, collaborative with Kinesiology and specializing in performance and choreography.

A message from Deanna:

I am grateful for the trust and support of my colleagues on the board and of Rufi and Wendy as we move DSW into the next chapter of its service to dance artists in Alberta. I have benefitted for many years from the programming and learning opportunities DSW has provided and it is a privilege to work to continue this legacy in our community.
